From August 29 to 31, 2023, the Road Construction Machinery Testing Center of Chang'an University conducted a type test on the SUM7200D asphalt concrete paver independently developed by Shaanxi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as SCMC) at the construction site in Huizhou, Guangdong. It was determined that the design performance index of the SUM7200D asphalt concrete paver met the standard provisions of GB/T 16277-2021 "Road Construction and Maintenance Machinery and Equipment Asphalt Concrete Pavers".
SUM7200D asphalt concrete paver is a new platform model developed by SCMC in order to adapt to the new emission standards, using the non-road mobile machinery China IV engine, equipped with a single tamper electric heating telescopic screed. The design maximum paving width is 9 meters. The maximum paving thickness is 300 mm. The hopper capacity is 15 tons. The whole machine is equipped with multi-dimensional operating system, automatic cruise system, voice recognition system and intelligent electric heating control system. By using operation quality improvement and electric, mechanical, hydraulic and information control technology, it can easily realize many practical construction functions such as automatic hydraulic tensioning of crawlers, multi-gear overall lifting of the auger, and quick connection of extended joints and so on. It can improve construction efficiency while quickly realizing the one-time molding of the road surface, and effectively solve the segregation problem of paving construction, which perfectly meet the surface construction needs of national grade II highways and municipal roads with variable road width.
The successful passage of the SUM7200D asphalt concrete paving model test is not only the continuation and inheritance of the enterprise spirit of "perseverance and excellence" adhered to by the technology innovation team of SCMC, but also the symbol of the return of the king of SUM series pavers.
